Museum of the Great War 1915 - 1918

Since 2004, a private museum focusing on the First World War has been open on the Fedaia Pass, approximately 15 minutes from Canazei, beneath the Marmolada. Thanks to the passion and commitment of Andrea, Dino and Sandro De Bernadin, today visitors can admire this prestigious collection of heirlooms and war relics mostly originating from the Marmolada glacier but including some private donations.

Within the Museum, visitors can see original films from the time, photographs, postcards and a specialist bookshop. The Museum of the Great War can be easily reached by car from Canazei (13 km) or from the Malga Ciapèla (9 km).
